This year the Christmas Fair
will be held over 2 weekends.
6th - 7th December &
13th - 14th December
The town will be decorated with Christmas trees and lights ready for Santa to arrive at 2pm in a horse-drawn carriage joined in procession through the town by the Brass Band on Saturday 6th Dec.
Then on Sunday 7th Dec the parade of Santas will commence from Booths at 2pm down Mitchelgate to Market Street, Main Street then back up New Road for a second time around.
There will be plenty of street entertainment on both weekends- fairies on stilts, jugglers, Charlie Chaplin, Pipe Band, a fairground for kids etc. With food available and additonal park and ride at the New Business Park next to the BP petrol station on the A65, where there will be more Christmas activities.
