Traditional Hay Meadows at Kilnmire – Thursday 30th June, 6.30pm

Kilnmire is situated on the Northern edge of the Howgill Fells and is about ¼ mile from the pretty village of Ravenstonedale. It is a typical hill farm and has a flock of 300 Rough Fell Sheep. John will give a demonstration of sheep shearing and you will also have the chance to see our lovely herb rich hay meadows, of which three of them are Cumbria Wildlife Sites. Sorry no dogs. Bring waterproofs, walking boots or Wellingtons.
