Pink week is a week dedicated to raising funds for Breast Cancer Research and Macmillan Cancer Research.
Organised by the Charity Team at QES it lasts From 8th to the 12th October and the whole community is invited to take part by buying ribbons to decorate trees in memory of loved ones. The town of Kirkby Lonsdale will turn pink with flags and ribbons.
There is also a special service at St Mary's Church on Wednesday 10th October at 6.00pm, everyone is welcome to attend. "A celebration of those who died and a thanksgiving for those who survived"
