The Annual Lunesdale Show is held on the second Tuesday in August.
This is a traditional country agricultural show that attracts visitors, exhibitors and trade stands both locally and from further afield.
Cattle - dairy featuring Holstein and Jersey cows and a beef section
Sheep - the Lunesdale Show is well known for sheep with 17 different breed sections
Sticks and Crooks - a traditional rural craft
Horses - show ponies, native breeds, hunters, coloured horses and ponies, private driving class, agricultural horses and show jumping classes as well as the popular Ridden Fancy Dress Competition
Poultry, Waterfowl and Eggs - a wide variety of classes provide an attractive display of the different types of fowl
Dog Show - over a 120 dog classes with the different breeds competing for the Best in Show title
Home Industries and Produce - a stunning display of flowers, vegetables, home baking, needlecraft and much more
Cumberland and Westmorland Wrestling - an extemely popular and fiercely competitive event that is unlikely to be seen anywhere outside Cumbria
Craft Marquee - a display and sale of individually made craft items, from fudge to knitwear and cards to woodturning
Display of Vintage Vehicles and Machinery - a selection of agricultural bygones and restored vintage vehicles - parade at 3.00pm
Food Hall - where you will find Cumbria's finest produce on display and for sale
Parade of Hounds from the Vale of Lune Hunt - this is a spectacle not to be missed with opportunity to get close to the hounds - 2.15pm
GRAND PARADE AND PRESENTATION OF AWARDS 2.30pm

Trade Stands - something for everyone from agricultural needs, clothing and accesories to children's entertainment and much more
Refreshments - Food is available from the catering outlets on the showfield. The Rugby Club bar will be open during the day. Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream on sale
