Put your name forward for the shortest ever sponsored walk & step out  for CancerCare! Walking barefoot across burning coals is an experience  that will leave you completely exhilarated—it’s just a case of mind over  matter!    If you dare to ‘Walk in the line of fire’ then get in touch  with  the fundraising team on: 01524 381820.    Held alongside the Rugby clubs annual firework display. The Bonfire will  be lit at 7pm, with a Spectacular Firework display at 7.30pm. Entry Fee -  £3 per Adult & £1 per Child  (excluding  FireWalk). There will be hotdogs,  burgers and bar!

We practice at KLRUFC on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7.30 - 9.30p.m.

We are also looking for people of all ages who would like to learn to play.
We have a few spare instruments!

Fork Fest

Celebrating local food, real ale and gardening, Fork Fest 2011 is a fun filled weekend for all the family. With music, demos, a flower festival, Beer Fest and Real Ale Trail, plenty of food sampling and entertainment for the kids, Fork Fest 2011 is not to be missed.

Beer Fest

Enjoy an afternoon of sampling the best ales from the region and listen to music in the Beer Fest tent, which brings together 13 local breweries into one location. Real Ale tickets available at the ticket tent.  New for 2011, for those who wish we now have a Pimms and Champagne & Strawberry tent.

Real Ale Trail

Buy your Real Ale Trail score card and tankard from the Fork Fest ticket tent, £10, and sample the 13 Beer Fest ales and guide yourself around the town's hostelries to determine the winning Brewery on the Real Ale Trail.

Food Fest

Meet the local producers and delight your tastebuds with fresh produce, regional favourites and Cumbrian specialities, based on the town's market square.

Little Fest

Especially for the little ones, Little Fest will keep the kids entertained with animals, workshops and face painting. New for 2011 come and join Astral Circus.

Demo Fest

From cheese making to wine tasting, check out the demos and talks taking place on the Play Park. Your wrist band will get you in for free.

Flower Fest

Follow your nose for the beautiful display of flowers in St Mary’s Church.

Run Fest

Introducing the "Blacksticks Blue" 5K and 10K run. Run through the beautiful Lune Valley countryside. Sponsored by Butler's Cheese.

Art Fest

Based in the Institute opposite the playpark, come and see local artists and craftspeople exhibiting and selling their wares. Free with Fork Fest wristband and £1.50 all others.
