This is the final of 6 events in partnership with Unique Homecare, of particular interest to the over 60’s, though all are welcome. 10.30am – 11.30am (speakers) and from 11.30am to 12.30pm there will be light refreshments and informal questions. Guest speakers are Helen Scott, Clinical Service Manager and Dr James Harper, Clinical Director Adult Mental Health Lancashire Care NHS Trust.

A talk about a walk - with tapas

Craig Muirhead walked 550 miles on the famous Camino de Santiago last August, working out what to do with his life, and meeting fellow-travellers from different European countries, all walking for their own, personal, reasons. 

The Friends of St Mary's have invited Craig to give an illustrated talk about his walk and the people he met, at the Lunesdale Hall on Saturday, April 8, at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from the committee and at the visitor information shop at 24 Main Street, Kirkby Lonsdale. Costing £7, they include a range of Spanish-flavoured tapas. There will be a bar and soft drinks also available.
