Town Council Vacancy

PostedTuesday, 16 May 2017

There’s a vacancy on Kirkby Lonsdale Town Council.

Following the death earlier this year of Coun Donald Carmichael, formalities have been followed and there will not be a by-election to fill the seat.

The council wishes to hear from anyone wishing to be considered as a new councillor. The position is open to anyone aged 18 or over, living or working within three miles of the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale (nominally Market Square).

Expressions of interest should be sent to the Town Clerk, Kevin Price, at Braeside, Low Greenhills, Crook, Kendal, LA8 8LA, by the end of May 2017, giving the reason or reasons for wishing to be considered.
