In Praise of Northern Gardens
with Caroline Beck, Garden writer and cut-flower grower
7.30pm Wednesday, 21 February 2018
Lunesdale Hall, Kirkby Lonsdale
Caroline Beck has lived in Weardale, Co. Durham for the last 21 years and has always championed Northern gardens in her writings over these years - as well as gardening 500ft above sea level.
Caroline will talk to us about great gardens of the North, an area often overlooked and unappreciated by writers south of the Watford Gap, showing how it is possible to grow things other than rhubarb and moss in the North!
