Kirkby Lonsdale is set amongst the beautiful landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with the Lake District right on its doorstep. So it may come as no surprise that there are some beautiful walks to enjoy around the town and nearby!
Take a gentle stroll along the banks of the River Lune to see Devil’s Bridge and Ruskin’s View, enjoy a leisurely walk to the nearby village of Whittington, or head out of town to discover the nearby Ingleton Waterfall Trail.
Fancy something a bit more challenging? Kirkby Lonsdale is a great base from which to tackle the challenge of the Yorkshire Three Peaks or climb a Wainwright in the Lake District.
