We're a very friendly, relaxed group run by parents/carers for parents/carers. We meet 9.30am to 11.30am every Friday, including the school holidays, at Fraser Hall, Cowan Bridge. We do hope you can pop along to join us!
Please make you and your child(ren) comfortable, grab a brew and relax. We have an area for babies with plenty of seats so you can have a chat with other parents and feed your baby in comfort.
For toddlers there are a selection of toys available and on nice days, we open the enclosed outside space.
Our group is run by parents and carers and we are very grateful for everyone who attends for mucking in and helping. Don't worry whilst your baby is small (we've all been there – just getting out of the house is a massive achievement, well done you!). When you feel able, any help with setting up, washing up, putting toys and chairs away and sweeping the floor is gratefully appreciated. When you really find your feet, we have a rota of volunteers for setting up, providing snacks etc. We are very grateful to everyone who signs up to make sure the organisation of the group is shared.
We welcome our Health Visitor on the second Friday of every month. If you would like to see her, please sign in on the sheet at the back as you arrive.
We ask for £2 per family per session to help cover rent, insurance and refreshments. Please sign in (the book is on the counter with the mugs).
