A local friendly cycling club, affiliated to British Cycling, with regular rides at weekends mostly racing bikes with the occasional Mountain Bike ride organised too at Gisburn Forest. Road and off-road, serious and recreational riders welcome.
We meet twice a month on the first and third Sundays of every month at 10am at the new sports pavilion in Burton in Lonsdale off Bentham Moor Road (LA6 3LJ). Sometimes meeting in a single group or multiple groups depending on numbers. Other rides are arranged by members on a regular basis. Club rides are usually 25 to 40 miles or longer! There are some shorter rides for those developing their fitness.
