SUMMARY:Wray Scarecrow Festival
DESCRIPTION:The longest-running Scarecrow Festival in the UK (we believe)\, is back for 2025. This year the theme is ‘Circus’ and all activities for the 10 day festival revolve around this\, culminating in the Wray Fair on Bank Holiday Monday\, 5th May. \nOnce again there are a variety of events taking place including 10k road race\, giant scarecrow parade\, car boot\, fell race\, local history walks and not forgetting the Wray Fair with entertainment and fun for all the family and\, of course\, lots of scarecrows! \nThe Festival began in 1992\, inspired by a similar event in France.
