All are welcome to come and unwind\, relax\, and restore. \nTake some well-deserved time out from the busyness of life to release stress and tension\, soothe your soul\, calm your mind\, and gently energise your body\, all while you simply rest and enjoy the therapeutic sounds from a wide range of healing instruments that will take you on a blissful journey. \nSound baths can support: \n• Deep relaxation and mental calm\n• Gentle regulation of the nervous system\n• A sense of spiritual connection and balance\n• Enhanced rest\, digestion\, and internal rhythm\n• Relief of muscular tension and general discomfort\n• Emotional release and energetic clearing\n• Reduction in stress and feelings of anxiety\n• Balance and harmony in the body’s energy field\n• Improved sleep\, mood\, and overall vitality\n• Greater clarity\, focus\, and spaciousness of mind \nEvery person experiences sound differently\, sessions are offered as invitations to return to your natural state of balance and inner connection. \nPlease arrive 15 minutes before starting time to get settled.\nDoors open at 5:45pm and close promptly at 6pm starting time.\nNo entry possible once session has started. \nNo experience needed just come as you are\, ware warm comfortable clothing and please bring a blanket and a cushion plus anything else you feel you may need to make your self cosy and comfortable. During the winter months remember to rap up well and maybe bring a couple of blankets. \nThick foam mats will be provided for extra comfort for everyone. I still recommend bringing your own if you have one to put on top for even extra padding. \nIf you like you can bring an extra cushion or a blanket to role up and put under your knees especially if you have back problems and need extra support for your lower back. \nIf you have problems lying on the floor you are welcome to bring a fold up comfy chair to sit on. \nIf you feel you might fall asleep and are prone to snoring\, I kindly ask that you please lie on your side if possible. \nIt is also a good idea to bring a bottle of water and best not to eat large meals or consume alcohol before hand. \nAvoiding the use of strong perfumes or aftershaves would be much appreciated. \nThere is a Car Park at the venue and should this be full there is more parking available just two roads down at the Fitness Centre Car Park that is a one minute walk away. \nPlease read all event details and instructions plus the Refund Policy before booking to ensure the best experience possible. \nMonthly Events are held at Frazer Hall in Cowan Bridge usually every 3rd or 4th Sunday of the month. \nPlease note:\nVery occasionally\, a sound played may be perceived as unpleasant or bring about a physical or emotional release. This is often part of the healing process and will usually shift and pass. However\, should anything become too intense\, please know that you are always welcome to leave the session at any time. She also exhibits in the Silverdale and Arnside Art and Craft Trail and elsewhere.\nSue will show how encaustic art can be used to create loose flowing images in vibrant colours using a variety of heated surfaces and tools. She enjoys experimenting with different approaches\, mixed media and stitch and will include some of these techniques.\nSue will share her love of painting with wax and the session will include some opportunity for those interested to make a card using simple encaustic techniques.\n\nMembers and visitors are welcome\, (donation requested from non members).

DESCRIPTION:Kirkby Lonsdale Brass Band announce their annual autumn Concert to be held at St Mary’s Church. \nKirkby Lonsdale Brass Band is one of the oldest bands in the country. Our earliest record is from 1821 when the band played for the coronation celebrations of King George IV. \nThey led the procession for the coronation celebrations of Queen Victoria in 1838 and escorted Queen Adelaide\, widow of William IV into the town on her visit in 1840.  \nIn 1936 they played for the\, then\, Prince of Wales on his visit to Kirkby Lonsdale and on the occasion of Prince Charles’s visit in 1993. \nIn January 2025 the band welcomed new Musical Director Robert Walker. \nThe band is self supporting. Funds are raised from engagements\, fund raising events and from our Patrons Fund.
