The Mewses’, conducted by Martin Webster, will give a concert to commemorate the end of the First World War. Entitled ‘Keep the Home Fires Burning’, it will be a mixture of words and music, mostly, but not exclusively, written at the time, but all of it appropriate to the theme.
Kirkby Lonsdale Methodist Church is the venue and tickets will be £5 from choir members, or pay at the door. There will be refreshments to follow.
