Sedbergh Sheepfest 2019

Come and celebrate everything Sheep!

Saturday, 21 September 2019 to Sunday, 22 September 2019

Main Street, Sedbergh LA10 5AD

Sheepfest is Sedbergh’s very own two day celebration of all things sheep. For the main attraction local businesses, organisations and individuals work together to create their very own life size sheep that are displayed along the Main Street and in other public outdoor areas for the duration of the weekend. Comic names are positively encouraged!

Originally the brain child of the team at Farfield Mill Arts & Heritage centre, there will be free entry to the Mill and sheep related crafts and activities taking place there across the weekend too.

For 2019, Rural Links will also be joining us with their field to fork roadshow, with various breeds of sheep and other animals for visitors to see.
This year’s theme is ‘rubbish sheep’ inspired by the current focus for a more sustainable and eco friendly way of living. We are hoping that people will come up with creative ways of recycling items into making their sheep, as well as considering where that will end up after the weekend itself. There will also be lots of information about the amazing natural and sustainable resource that is wool.

Come along for a baa-rilliant weekend!
