Kirkby Lonsdale Country Market is a successful, friendly co-operative with a community feel. Every Thursday in the Lunesdale Hall members sell their wares including cakes, bread, preserves, crafts, vegetables, flowers and more!
Something magical is about to happen in Kirkby Lonsdale. The town will come alight with festive cheer for the three day Christmas Fair.on December 6th-8th. Santa will be dropping in on his sleigh each day at 2pm to lead the procession. He'll then go to his new grotto in the ginnel by the bookshop which will be decorated as a Harry Potter set. The parade on Saturday and Sunday will be the usual exciting mix of floats, bands and sleigh; look out for the netball teams with hoop halos. The fabulous Batala drumming band will once again entertain the crowds and they will be joined by other bands and buskers throughout the weekend including blues bands, choirs, saxophonists and even an opera singer. There'll be a chalet village in the market square on Friday night 4-8pm and all day Saturday and Sunday, plus the Lunesdale Hall will be filled with gift and food stalls on Saturday and Sunday, with a free park and ride at the Rugby Club on Friday night 4.30-8pm and Saturday and Sunday 10-5pm. Come and join in the magic of the Kirkby Lonsdale Christmas Fair. Click here for more info...
