Three Choirs Concert

Save Hornby Swimming Pool

7.30pm Saturday, 16 September 2017

Hornby Institute, Hornby

Three Choirs Concert

A concert to raise money for the Save Hornby Swimming Pool fund. All the choirs taking part are community choirs. Their membership is made up of those who have lots of singing experience and others with none but what they have in common is a love of singing.

Taking part are:

Gathered Voices, an A Cappella choir based in Morcambe and Penwortham who enjoy close harmony singing and entertaining audiences with a wide range of music from pop to gospel.

Maelstrom: A group, small in number but big in voice, all male A Cappella choir founded in 2015. Both Gathered Voices and Maelstrom are under the musical direction of Jeff Borradaile.

The Hornby Singers, a local community singing group came into being last May.  Since then they have been working with musical director Dan Adams and having great fun learning to sing in two part harmony.

All the choir members give of their time to rehearse and perform for audiences throughout the country and to help raise money for local charities.

Tickets £7.00 from Hornby Institute 10.00 am to 12 noon Monday  to Saturday 015242 22227 proceeds to Hornby Swimming Pool Fund
