We organise a wide range of walks within Lake District Area and beyond led by our members. We walk on alternate Tuesdays and Wednesdays and every Thursday meeting at the B&Q car park, Burton Road, Kendal to share cars to the start of the walks.

A Julian Meeting is a group of people who meet together regularly to take part in a time of silent prayer. The meetings are for people of all denominations – in fact it is a requirement that they should be ecumenical.

Casterton WI has about 30 members mostly from Casterton, Kirkby Lonsdale and the surrounding area. New members are always welcome – we meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 7.30 p.m. in Casterton Village Hall.

Barbon Village Hall is located in the centre of Barbon, near Kirkby Lonsdale, offering an ideal location for bookings from small groups to 100 or more people.

With over 33,000 Rotary Clubs and 1.2 million members around the world Rotary Club volunteers have a common aim. To help people in need within their local community, nationally or wherever disaster strikes in the world.

We’re a very friendly, relaxed group run by parents/carers for parents/carers. We meet 9.30am to 11.30am every Friday, including the school holidays, at Fraser Hall, Cowan Bridge. We do hope you can pop along to join us!

Barbon Bridge Club welcomes players of all standards for duplicate bridge on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
