Casterton WI: Handle with Care

Casterton WI welcomes members and visitors to talk with Josephine Oxley.
Josephine spent more than 25 years working for Historic Scotland, the National Trust and English Heritage. In this talk she will explain the work of the curator in the historic house setting. She will talk about some of the major projects and exhibitions that she worked on which will provide a ‘behind the scenes’ look at the work of a curator. Josephine’s last job before retirement was Keeper of the Wellington Collection at Apsley House.
Members and visitors are welcome, (donation requested from non members).
