Theatre by the Lake: A Peep Backstage

Simon’s talk will explore how stories are shaped, developed and brought to life on stage – from the first spark of an idea to the moment the curtain goes up. Drawing on his experience at Cumbria is award-winning producing theatre. Simon will share how regional theatres play a vital role in reflecting the places they serve creating work, rooted in local stories, landscapes and communities expect insight into the creative process the collaboration, behind-the-scenes, and my theatre made close to home, can have such a powerful impact.
