Town Team Drop In Session
The Town Team has been set up to secure funding for projects which local people believe will make a difference to the quality of life in the town, and that’s why your view counts. The Town Team consists of representatives of all the town’s key organisations, from the schools and churches, to the Town Council and the Chamber of Trade, to the Community Cupboard and Community Interest Company, amongst others.
So that we can create an actions-based ten year Place Plan for the town, which focuses on the key issues in our community, we have been undertaking a town wide consultation based on four questions:
- What is missing in Kirkby Lonsdale?
- What are the key things we should be improving?
- What are the large and small things which will make a difference to the town?
- What would make the biggest difference to the town?
This drop in session is an opportunity to come and see the key topics and themes emerging from our consultations and tell us what you think about the ideas – and whether we’ve missed anything.
The ideas from the consultation are going into a ten year plan for the town.
