Cumbria County Council's Community and Learning Skills has launched three new courses at Lunesdale Hall this Autumn.
Each course is held weekly over several weeks and provide excellent learning opportunities. The courses are:
Creative Writing which can help kick-start your ambitions, whether you are considering poetry or prose, a full-blown novel or a series of short stories, a magazine article or a blog. Just let your creativity flow.
Latin and Roman Britain whereas a basic study of the Latin language will be undertaken, emphasis will also be placed on Latinisms in modern English and an in depth study of Roman Britain. A variety of course materials will be used to implement the course. It is hoped that some visits will be made to historic Roman sites in Britain.
