Taste Cumbria Kirkby Lonsdale

Saturday, 13 April 2019 to Sunday, 14 April 2019

Market Square, Kirkby Lonsdale LA6 2AH

Taste Cumbria is back in the pretty market town of Kirkby Lonsdale for its third Taste Cumbria food festival on Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14.

The event is held in association with Taste Cumbria magazine and Cumbria Life.

The cream of the area’s food producers will be showcasing their wares at a food and drink market with more than 30 stands, including hot food that visitors can eat on the spot.

There will also be live demonstrations in the Lunesdale Hall from some of the best chefs and experts around, with plenty of samples guaranteed. There will also be plenty of children’s activities with Rainbow Jelly for the little visiting food fans.

Organiser Anna Chippendale of CN Events says: “Kirkby Lonsdale is a perfect town for a Taste Cumbria festival. It’s home to so many great food and drink businesses, with so many more in the surrounding areas, that we can’t fail to find some great producers to sell their wares in the Market Square, and chefs to take part in some fun lively demos.

“The previous two festivals have attracted thousands of visitors to the town and I’m sure this year’s event will be no exception.”
